How to edit grain in Lightroom

Adding grain to your photos can come to help if you want to give them a little bit more depth or maybe just a nice retro feeling. Down below we will show you how to edit the grain amount in the Lightroom app to perfectly suit your style. On this photo we have used our own preset "Vintage Vibe". Depending on what type of photo you have taken it might look more or less grainy with this preset. How to install mobile presets in the Lightroom app

Lightroom presets are compatible with both iOS and Android, all you need to install the presets is the free Lightroom app and the presets files (.dng). First step is to install the Lightroom app on your phone, and then sign up. If you already have the app, just sign in as usual.   Download the presets files to your phone and choose where you want to extract them to. OBS! It might not look exactly the same on your phone, but the goal is to download and extract the files to your phone. Once the files are extracted, go in to that folder. How to install desktop presets in Lightroom Classic

Installing presets on your computer is not that complicated. What you will need is a Lightroom subscription from Adobe and the presets files (xmp. files) that you will like to install. First open Lightroom Classic on your computer and sign in. If it’s not on your computer already, go to your creative cloud and download it from there. Select a photo and click on the “develop” module. Once there find the presets tab to the left and click on the “+” button, and then choose “import presets”.
